*Authoritarian
*Democratic
*Laissez Faire

Which is your favorite/which one do you use most frequently? Why? Under what circumstances would you change your style to accomplish the mission?

Looks like somebodys is studing his leadership text. I will change whenever I feel like the situations calls for it...and all i can say, is that i just "feel" my way throught situations.

No, it's just something I'm interested in and I wanted to know what other people thought. I've known this stuff for a while.

Leaders tend to juggle what their style is. Each of the three has its place, and its uses. Authoritarian gets the point across, and laissez faire is good for support staff assignments. I really have yet to see a time when democratic has been the best course of action.

I agree but there will be a day when you will finally have to use a Democratic approach. I've had to use it when dealing with "special" or "complicated" situations, where you need to be sure of what the correct plan of action is. But most of the time, you never use one style of leadership for one situation. I find that you must use multiple styles throughout the situation.
